SUCCESS STORY OF VLE TIEWMONLANG NONGKYNRIH FROM MEGHALAYA
Tiewmonlang hails from Lummawkong, Mawjrong in Laitkroh Block of East Khasi Hills district of Meghalaya. Her Husband is into farming and she has 5 children. She is a Bachelor of arts graduate and started to work for her CSC in year 2010.
She says CSC has changed her life, although she works for a living but running her CSC in her village has increased her social interaction with citizens in her village.
Now as all the services are available in the CSC villagers need not travel afar to avail services. She is very affirmative on the effect of her CSC on the village and community and goes on to says It also helps them save time and money.

GOVERNMENT APPROVES CSCs TO WORK AS GST SERVICE PROVIDER
Government of India has approved CSCs to work as GST Service Provider. The VLEs will be trained by CSC SPV to avail merchants to fill returns relating to GST.
The entrepreneurs training will be completed by June 15 and the system will be in place before the GST rollout. The services offered by the centres will not be free. CSC SPV is in the process of working out a commission model which will be as competitive as those offered by other service providers.
GST will act as a major pull factor for the CSCs, enhancing their credibility further . The wide CSC network, especially in the rural and semi-urban areas, will give a major boost to the ambitious GST rollout since it requires a lot of ground-level support.

PASSPORT MADE AVAILABLE FOR CITIZENS THROUGH CSCs
सीएससी के माध्यम से नागरिकों के लिए उपलब्ध कराया गया पासपोर्ट अपॉइंटमेंट में फेरबदल
जिन नागरिकों ने पासपोर्ट आवेदन के लिए आवेदन किया है और पुष्टि की हुई नियुक्तियां प्राप्त की हैं और यदि वे किसी कारण से पासपोर्ट सेवा केन्द्र (पीएसके) का दौरा करने में असमर्थ हैं, तो वे नए डिजी सेवा पोर्टल पर सीएससी के माध्यम से अपनी नियुक्ति को फिर से शेड्यूल कर सकते हैं।
सभी वीएलई जो अब नई सीएससी आईडी वाले हैं वे नागरिकों के लिए आवश्यक फेरबदल कर सकते हैं। पहली नियुक्ति की तारीख के एक वर्ष के भीतर किसी एप्लिकेशन के लिए अपॉइंटमेंट में फिर से शेड्यूलिंग की केवल दो बार अनुमति दी जाती है।
